More on switchingWhich package do I need?
It mostly comes down to how many people are online at once. The line under each package is a fair guide, and the address check shows the real speeds for your line. If you're still not sure, ring us and we'll talk it through — we'd rather you bought the right one than the biggest one.
Can I keep my phone number?
Yes. We move it across with you. The old phone network is being switched off, so your line will run over broadband whoever you're with — it works the same, but it needs power. If anyone in the house relies on that phone, say so when you order and the battery backup is free.
How does switching work?
You tell us to go ahead and we arrange it with your old provider — you don't cancel anything yourself. On an existing Openreach line most people move across with no engineer visit at all, and the address check tells you which you are.
